Played by Zoe Sladana in the gigantic movie hit, “Avatar”, the beautiful and mysterious Neytiri is a strong leader in the realm of Pandora.    You will want to order your costume early to make sure you get a this A vivacious aqua-blue body suit, donned with the dark bold Na’Vi stripes and grey apron with matching arm gauntlet.  It also includes two  strands of multicolored beads.

Neytiri is actually a Princess of Na’vi, and she is from the clan called: Omaticaya.  As a daughter of the royal couple of  Mo’at and Eytukan, she is also Sylwanin’s younger sister.

We know from the movie that Neytiri runs into human-made-avatar, Jake Sully, while he is on a frolic in the forest.  Unfortunately, Jake runs into a fierce pack of viper-wolves, and it is Neytiri who comes to his rescue.

Neytiri is ordered by her royal father to teach Jake in the ways of the Na’vi.  Of course, as the story goes the two become romantically entwined, and Jake now has the dilemma of fighting with the Na’vi people, Neytiri and Jake leading the way.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the movie Avatar, it’s one of the “must see” movies for 2009, and now with its availability on Blue Ray or DVD, it is a stunning film to watch with the family on your home theater system.

After meeting Neytiri, Jake Sully  becomes one with the Na’Vi people, and you can too with this amazing and authentic looking Jake Sully Avatar costume.    This outfit comes with the scrunched shoulders, with the attached shirt and signature sleeves in traditional Na’Vi style.  This also includes the tan pants that has the characteristic Na’Vi tail attached, and it’s all finished off with the awesome character mask.

Jake Sully, is an American-born Marine who is now a disabled veteran.  However, he was selected to participate in the Avatar project because his he had a twin brother, named Tom, who died back on Earth.  Jake’s story has an ironic turn as he was originally dispatched to Pandora to gather intelligence.  Of course, he runs into Neytiri, who saves his life, and he slowly turns to the Na’vi ways and ultimately becomes one of their leading fighters along with Neytiri and other Na’vi warriors.

Avatar, which was released in December of 2009, is the vision of Director, James Cameron. Cameron was born in Canada, and he started his directing career there as well. Of course until the release of Avatar, his prior movie broke all cinema records, Titanic. But Cameron has a wide variety of films, such as Aliens, The Terminator and Rambo: First Blood.

Cameron matriculated at Stamford Collegiate in Canada’s Niagara Falls. However, he later moved to the Southern California City of Fullerton in the early 70s. Although Cameron was a student at Cal State Fullerton, he spent many a day visiting the campus at the University of Southern California (aka USC) in the film archives. Cameron taught himself movie special effects by studying all that he could from the USC movie library.

What really propelled Cameron was watching the blockbuster hit – Star Wars when it first hit the screens in 1997. He quit what he was doing and then and there and changed his career path to movies.

Cameron worked his way up through the movie business, starting in special effects for a number of projects and lower budget movies. It wasn’t until later while working on the sequel to Piranha that he conceived the concept for the movie, The Terminator. After The Terminator, there was no looking back as Cameron went on with movie hits like Rambo, Aliens the Abyss, Terminator 2, True Lies and then his biggest hit until Avatar – Titanic.
